Twenty plus years Managing Corporate Accounts in the Recruitment and Staffing Industry. Key responsibilities have included HR Management of associates, Planning & Recruiting, Operations and Account Management, and Project Planning. Confident and efficient when liaising with Customers, Employees and the Client. Hardworking with a sense of humour and an outgoing, bubbly personality. Work well as part of a Team and have excellent Leadership and Motivational skills. I lead by example and have the ability to Coach, Support, Direct and Delegate in the workplace. Having founded Major Recruitment Ltd in 1992, he has since grown and developed multiple business including Universal. The growth of the Major Group Family, which includes over 25 independent recruitment companies and over 170 employees, has been a huge success and revolutionary model in the recruitment industry.

Although he's unsure where it started, but Phil has developed a bit of a nick name within the recruitment industry - some people call him 'the silver fox'.

As a keen football fan, closely following his beloved Leeds United, Phil enjoys spending the weekend watching football, running and enjoying the Yorkshire countryside.

With over 13 years as Finance Director of Major Recruitment Ltd, Lesley’s role has since grown to now support the full Major Group Family including Universal.

She has unrivalled knowledge within the Finance and Accountancy field and is often the go-to person for help.

Georgina joined the Major Head Office in 2015 and has since become an integral part of the Group’s Head Office. As Finance Manager, she is specifically focused on supporting the Equity Partners including Universal and maintaining the financial health of the Group.

In her spare time Georgina loves spending time with her family. She also absolutely loves the sun shine and lives for holidays!

Megan starter her career with Major aged just 16 as an Operations Consultant in the Huddersfield branch. Her profound knowledge of the recruitment industry and operations has been key in her career progression to Head Office.  Working closely with both Lesley and Georgina, she is very important to Universal looking after all of the back office function from finance, invoices to payroll.

In her down time, Megan enjoys shopping, shopping, and more shopping!!
