We have a highly experienced, diligent and conscientious Chartered Quantity Surveyor and ‘FIDIC Contracts Specialist’ practicing in the international professional areas of claims, defences and project controls of nuclear power plants, petro-chemical plants, rail infrastructure, PFI procurement management, disputes management/avoidance, client commissions, project funding, production of presentations for board level individuals of multi nationals, statutory adjudication, project controls, difficult final accounts, design & build, lifecycle cost modelling, financial risk modelling, value management and estimation.
Experienced contracts manager/specialist having worked with FIDIC, JCT and NEC forms of contract.
Contract Risk Appraisal, assessment of contract documents for both main and sub-contractors. Assessment of the contracts for risk transfer and how the contract is to be managed.
Experience with the Network Rail suite of contracts including consultancy and target cost contracts.
Lead surveyor on a large expert level manual measure.
Developed and negotiated supply chain agreements across a network of PFI schemes to achieve cost savings.
Production of and management of data for key performance indicators.
Mentoring of junior staff and trainees.
I have major claims experience on projects, the value of the claims ranging from £10m plus to 500m (Euro) on a variety of contracts, including FIDIC, JCT and NEC 3. On the major claims I was a member of a team producing the claim document.
Construction of large insitu concrete frame buildings, including residential, railway stations, car parks and nuclear installations.
